Mr. Botos graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering in 1990. His early career focused on structural dynamics, thermodynamics, and mechanical design of satellites, launch vehicles, and space structures including the International Space Station.

As one of four original founding partners of Quartus Engineering Incorporated in 1997, Mr. Botos played a pivotal role in the company’s growth and diversification. He progressed through key leadership positions including Chief Design Engineer, Vice President of Operations, and CEO from 2012 to 2017. Under his leadership, he drove the company’s strategic expansion beyond aerospace into diverse industries, successfully executing projects in consumer electronics mechanical design and testing, high-volume injection molding processes, amusement ride engineering, and advanced space structures.

As Vice President of Operations and CEO, Mr. Botos developed extensive expertise in strategic planning and business development, cross-functional team leadership and talent development, P&L management and financial oversight, client relationship management, and organizational culture building. His combination of technical knowledge and proven executive leadership enabled Quartus Engineering to establish itself as a trusted multidisciplinary engineering partner across multiple industries.
