Mr. Ilya Gavrilyuk has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California San Diego and is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of California. Mr. Gavrilyuk’s technical background has focused on the development of optical payloads for aerospace applications, with a concentration in opto-mechanics. His industry experience covers a wide variety of advanced systems; ranging from ground-to-space lasercom terminals to large spaceborne scientific observatories. At Quartus, Mr. Gavrilyuk is the Director of Engineering for Aerospace Optical Systems, driving a team of multidisciplinary engineers to design, develop, and deliver precision optical systems for stressing ground, air, and space applications.
